These Terms and Conditions refer to the use of the website hortodocampogrande.pt (hereinafter referred to as “our website”), as well as the use of its Online Store (hereinafter referred to as “our Online Store”) and the products purchased therein. By using our website and associated services, or by making purchases through our Online Store, the user agrees to the Terms and Conditions set out herein.
Orders
Product orders may only be placed by users aged 18 or older. All information and data provided by the user shall have full legal effect. By placing an order, the user acknowledges the validity of electronic transactions and may not claim the absence of a physical signature to justify non-compliance with assumed obligations.
Orders are available for delivery within mainland Portugal, or can be collected, free of charge, at Horto do Campo Grande – Garden Centre, located in Lisbon.

Invoicing
Invoices are issued using ETICADATA software, certified under No. 0181/AT, and are fiscally valid.
The invoice is issued after the user’s payment is confirmed and is sent in electronic format to the email address provided during the purchase.
IFTHENPAY, Lda. (a payment institution authorized and supervised by the Bank of Portugal under registration number 8707) is our payments and digital interactions provider.
Deliveries
Products available in our Online Store are shipped nationwide, with the following exceptions:
- Islands (Azores and Madeira);
- Products marked as “Store Pickup Only” (typically those weighing 30kg or more, or with a height of 1.50mt or more);
- Fresh flowers, which are only available for delivery within the Lisbon area.
Same-day delivery may be possible if the following conditions are met:
- The ordered product is in stock at the time of order preparation. Please note that stock shortages are common in physical garden centers (e.g. plants are living organisms and may perish in-store), so we cannot guarantee the constant availability of all advertised products. Our team will inform you of any delays or suggest alternatives.
- Delivery is within the Lisbon area (based on postal code);
- The order and payment are completed by 2pm;
- We are not in a peak period (e.g. national holidays);
- A valid Portuguese phone number is provided (foreign numbers are not accepted).
For deliveries within the Lisbon area, items are typically delivered between 2 to 24 hours after payment confirmation. During checkout, users must select a desired delivery date, which must be within 30 days of the order date. Time selection is not available.
Outside the Lisbon metropolitan area, deliveries are made on the next business day provided, if:
- No unforeseen issues occur;
- It’s not a special date or holiday;
- The order and payment are completed by 2pm on the previous day.
Deliveries outside Lisbon typically arrive within 48 hours of payment. Customers will receive a tracking number by email (sent to the address provided during checkout) once the order is shipped.
No order will be processed unless payment has been successfully completed using the methods provided in our Online Store.
Only one delivery attempt will be made by the courier. The user should therefore provide any relevant delivery instructions in the checkout form (e.g. if the doorbell does not work, provide an alternative, or explain access difficulties).
At checkout, the user may choose to collect the order at a physical Horto do Campo Grande location, subject to stock availability at the selected Garden Centre.
Delivery costs:
- Free shipping on orders above €50;
- €6.50 for orders under €50;
- Weekend deliveries incur an additional €4 fee;
- No deliveries are made on December 25th and January 1st, regardless of the calendar year;
- National holidays may cause delivery delays, even within the Lisbon area.
Returns and Refunds
All our plants are first quality and come with a Phytosanitary Passport, which certifies and allows traceability.
For plant health and perishability reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges of plants or other plant-based products.
Please note that the photographs on our website/Online Store are illustrative. Since plants are living beings, each is unique. Therefore, the plant delivered may differ slightly from the image shown, with variations in shape, size, or appearance depending on its growth cycle stage.
For other products sold in our Online Store, such as pots, accessories, substrates, fertilizers, or decor items, the purchase amount will be refunded upon presentation of proof of purchase, in accordance with the law:
- You have 14 days from the product’s receipt to notify us of your intention to return it (Article 10 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014);
- After this communication, you have another 14 days to return the product;
- Under Article 12 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, you will be refunded the amount paid for the product and the initial shipping costs (when applicable);
- The refund will be issued within 14 days after receiving the returned item;
- The product must be in good condition and show no signs of use.
This right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made or personalized products (Article 15 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014).
We will also issue automatic refunds (no user request needed) in the following situations:
- If a paid order is cancelled before being shipped;
- If a product goes out of stock between the time of purchase and order preparation/shipping, and the client does not wish to wait for restocking or a replacement;
- If the order is damaged during transport, and the ordered items are no longer available.
Campaigns and Discount Codes
When a promotion is active, a discount code or promotional voucher is issued, or a giveaway is held on social media, its specific terms and conditions (such as user eligibility, duration, exclusions, etc.) will be clearly outlined in the respective campaign regulations or announcement.
Use of such coupons or promo codes is exclusively valid for our Online Store and does not apply in Garden Centers or physical “Horto do Campo Grande” stores.

By using our website and Online Store, you agree to be contacted by us through various communication channels (email, phone, mobile, social media, etc.). By communicating with us, you also accept that all documents, data, and messages may be stored by us for as long as strictly necessary.
