Drawing on over 40 years of experience and responding to our customers’ needs, we have formulated our own brand substrate with 3 varieties:
HCG Universal Outdoor Substrate
This is a universal substrate for planting and transplanting a wide range of outdoor plants, with the exception of plants that require an acidic pH. It has the right physical and chemical composition for healthy plant growth and development. Enriched with controlled and slow release fertiliser for up to 3 months (capsulated nitrogen) and other nutrients with immediate release effects.
Composition: Forest humus, Blonde Sphagnum peat, Siro Agro 1 (Pine bark humus – RAL certified), Siro Agro 2 (matured horse manure) and Mineral fertilizer up to 3 months (encapsulated nitrogen).
HCG Universal Indoor + Balcony Substrate
Special substrate for planting and transplanting all types of indoor and balcony plants. It is enriched with slow and controlled-release mineral fertilizer for 6 months, with a formulation designed to promote the green coloration of plant foliage.
The incorporation of micro-granulated expanded clay in the substrate promotes aeration/drainage, while creating stable moisture, which provides optimal conditions for plants to develop fully and healthily.
Composition: Pine bark humus, Blonde Sphagnum peat, Pine bark 00-08 mm, Coco peat and Slow and controlled-release mineral fertilizer up to 6 months.
HCG Premium BIO Substrate
A universal substrate of “Premium” quality, ideal for planting and transplanting a wide range of demanding plants, especially flowering plants, with the exception of plants that require an acidic pH. It is enriched with controlled and slow-release organic fertilisers, which provide the appropriate nutrients for healthy plant development for up to 5 months. The natural humic and fulvic acids present in the humus promote excellent conditions for plant root system growth, and in combination with Perlite and Coco peat, create balanced aeration and drainage in the substrate.
Composition: Pine bark humus, Blonde Sphagnum peat, Coco peat, Perlite and Slow and controlled-release organic biological fertilizer up to 5 months.
