As a way of providing knowledge and skills, Horto values and invests in the training of its employees. With this in mind, a training session on General Principles of Occupational Health and Safety was held last November, with trainer Rui Guerreiro.
This training session helped those present acquire skills in the field of occupational health and safety, which are essential and mandatory for their own safety and the safety of others.
Through this action, participants gained the ability to identify the risks inherent to their activities and those of the company. Adopt and monitor risk prevention and control measures. As well as recognizing and interpreting safety signage, personal protective equipment, and adopting fire safety measures.
About the trainer Rui Guerreiro
Rui Guerreiro holds a degree in Engineering and Agricultural Sciences, in the Rural and Environment branch, and a postgraduate degree as a Senior Technician in Occupational Health and Safety. In his professional career, he has served as a Senior Occupational Safety Technician, Safety and Environment Technician, Quality, Safety and Environment Manager, and Safety Coordinator in several companies. He is a certified trainer and has professional and pedagogical experience in the field of Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health.
