In the heart of Lisbon, an apartment was born that combines the rhythm of the city with the serenity of nature. The project, designed by Andringa Studio, is the perfect expression of balance between urban sophistication and the relaxation of the Alentejo coast.
Designed for a French couple in love with Comporta and the Portuguese lifestyle, the space reflects a way of living that values proximity to nature, even in an urban context. Horto do Campo Grande was responsible for the execution and supply of the vegetation and the Horto Collection planters, which shape the terrace and reinforce the identity of this city retreat.
Inspired by the natural and sophisticated style of Comporta, the interior design favors organic materials and warm textures, such as wood, stone, terracotta, and natural fibers, creating an environment full of comfort and light.
The terrace, with wide views over Lisbon, extends the interior atmosphere to the outdoors, transforming into a space for socializing and contemplation. Here, greenery takes center stage: the vegetation selected by Horto do Campo Grande provides privacy, shade, and freshness, shaping a setting that adapts to the rhythm of the seasons.
The Horto Collection planters, custom-made and personalized in color and size, integrate discreetly into the architecture, functioning as a natural extension of the home. Each room communicates with this hanging garden, where plants are not merely decorative elements, but an integral part of daily life.
The selection of species, carefully studied by the Horto do Campo Grande team, aimed to create a balanced and harmonious green environment, capable of offering privacy, botanical diversity, and a sense of well-being. The diversity of the chosen plants introduces different volumes, colors, and textures, providing visual and sensory richness and reinforcing the emotional connection with nature.
Andringa Studio, founded by Rita Andringa in 2015, has been establishing itself through its distinct style and ability to blend interior design, architecture, and landscaping into a coherent discourse. In this project, the studio found in Horto do Campo Grande a partner capable of offering technical solutions, customization, and continuous support, ensuring that every detail was executed with precision and aesthetic sensitivity.
According to the studio, the collaboration with Horto was marked by the team’s efficiency and professionalism, the speed of execution, and the quality of the products supplied, from the plant species to the personalized construction solutions.
