At Horto do Campo Grande, Christmas is experienced beyond the celebration. It’s a season that invites sharing, attention to others, and reinforcing gestures that make a difference. Throughout December, we once again partnered with several charitable initiatives that reflect values that accompany us all year round: proximity, responsibility, and care for the community!
We believe that nature has a quiet yet powerful role: creating more welcoming environments, giving visibility to important causes, and contributing to moments that promote hope and unity. Whether through supporting social campaigns, donating plants and Christmas trees, or collaborating with institutions that work daily on behalf of those most in need, we seek to be present in a genuine and consistent way.

Abraço Gala: 33 Years Celebrating Life
Associação Abraço marked its 33rd anniversary this year with the XXXIII Abraço Gala, held on December 1st, World AIDS Day, at São Luiz Teatro Municipal. An evening dedicated to celebrating life, marked by the art of drag performance and the generosity of artists who voluntarily joined this cause through their talent.
Horto do Campo Grande had the privilege of supporting this special moment, contributing floral arrangements offered as a gesture of recognition to the presenters, the evening’s award recipients, and, in a very particular way, to the gala’s artistic direction, in a symbolic year that marked five decades of professional drag performance in Portugal. A small contribution, conceived with great meaning, in an initiative that reflects values with which we identify: solidarity, respect, and commitment to life.
Centro de Bonsais de Campolide Hosts Banco do Bebé: When Opening Doors Means Opening Pathways
Centro de Bonsais de Campolide placed its space at the service of a greater cause by hosting the preparation of Banco do Bebé’s Christmas Hampers. A discreet yet essential support that allows gathering, organizing, and preparing goods intended for families supported by this institution, at a particularly sensitive time of year.
Sharing a space, combined with the ongoing availability of our teams, reflects the spirit of proximity and social responsibility that Horto do Campo Grande seeks to cultivate. It’s collaborations like this that make it possible to reach further, reinforcing the mission of those who work daily supporting families and reminding us that when we create space to help, the impact multiplies.
Equipment Sponsorship: Supporting the Interior, Wearing the Jersey, and Cultivating the Future
Horto do Campo Grande partnered in sponsoring equipment for ADRC Penaverdense, founded in 1984, reinforcing support for youth sports in the country’s interior and celebrating a long-standing connection to a region where we maintain partnerships with suppliers of holly and other species that are part of our offering.
With Fundação Galp, every step counted. And it really counted.
Another edition of the charitable challenge “Every Step Counts,” by Fundação Galp, has come to an end, and Horto do Campo Grande once again showed that, as a team, it’s possible to reach the goal. The participation of our employees resulted in more than two thousand kilometers traveled, which translated into more than two thousand meals for those most in need.
This edition was marked by historic numbers, far exceeding the proposed goals and reinforcing a cause that mobilizes communities around reducing inequalities and providing food support to families in vulnerable situations. Throughout the various editions, millions of meals have already reached those who need them.
To all who added steps and embraced this cause with dedication and a spirit of solidarity, our recognition. More than reaching the goal, we proved, once again, that together we can go much further!
Horto do Campo Grande Supporting Equestrian Sports
On December 6th and 7th, Quinta da Beloura Horse Center hosted the Special Dressage Competition (CDE) and the Regional Dressage Competition (CDR), two significant moments in the equestrian calendar, where technical precision, dedication, and elegance were on display. Horto do Campo Grande partnered, once again, with this event, through the loan of plants of different sizes, contributing to the aesthetic enhancement of the spaces and to creating a harmonious environment.
The competitive aspect is an integral part of the tradition of Escola de Equitação MP Beloura, which invests in the continuous development of its students and in encouraging improvement, always with a focus on the well-being and positive experience of participants. It’s a source of pride for Horto do Campo Grande to continue supporting initiatives that promote sports, learning, and passion for the equestrian world, reinforcing a collaboration built over time with trust and proximity!
Horto do Campo Grande Brings Greenery and Hope to the 37th Christmas Party of Comunidade Vida e Paz
Horto do Campo Grande once again partnered with the 37th Christmas Party dedicated to homeless people, promoted by Comunidade Vida e Paz, contributing to creating a more welcoming and dignified environment for all who visited the Cantina da Cidade Universitária de Lisboa.
Our participation materialized through the donation of plants and Horto Collection pots, featuring red poinsettias, an unmistakable symbol of the Christmas season, elegant ficus plants, associated with permanence and hope, and decorated Christmas trees.
Since 1989, this Christmas Party has had the mission of welcoming hundreds of people in situations of great social vulnerability, offering not just a meal, but above all care, presence, active listening, and moments of affection.
