Lisbon Chiado Hotel

Landscaping and plant decoration project carried out by Horto do Campo Grande for the Lisbon Chiado Hotel, a five-star hotel developed by Coporgest, located in the heart of Chiado, Lisbon. Developed in coordination with the hotel’s architecture and interior design project, the intervention aimed to create more natural, peaceful, and sophisticated environments, reinforcing the space’s welcoming and contemporary identity.

Concept and atmosphere

The goal was to integrate plant life subtly and elegantly throughout the hotel’s various spaces, contributing to a more serene and sensory experience. In coordination with the architecture and interior design, plants and decorative elements were selected to enhance the exclusive atmosphere of the Lisbon Chiado Hotel, creating points of freshness and balance throughout the common areas, suites, and wellness zones.

Species selection

The choice of species prioritized plants adapted to the hotel’s indoor environments and the specific lighting of each space, seeking to establish a visual language consistent with the materials, textures, and tones present in the hotel project. The intervention primarily valued species with an elegant and organic presence, capable of adding depth, comfort, and naturalness to the different environments, from the reception areas to the relaxation and social zones.

Maintenance and continuity

The landscaping intervention was designed to ensure balance, durability, and natural integration within the hotel’s various environments. The careful selection of species and decorative elements sought to ensure a consistent and harmonious plant presence, capable of complementing the sophisticated and welcoming identity of the Lisbon Chiado Hotel over time.
