Supporting educational projects that promote direct contact with nature has become one of the core activities of Horto do Campo Grande, in partnership with different educational institutions.
As part of this collaboration with Colégio Pedro Arrupe (Lisbon), a project was developed for 5th-year students during the week of April 20th, which sought to transform one of the school’s main corridors through the introduction of plants in Horto Collection planters. The goal was to create an immediate visual impact, capable of marking the arrival to the space and reinforcing students’ motivation at the start of the educational project.
The intervention involved placing planters with plants of different types, carefully selected to integrate into the school environment and contribute to a more vibrant and engaging reading of the circulation space. More than a decorative element, these plants took on an active role in building an atmosphere that stimulates curiosity, attention, and closeness to the natural world.

This action is part of a broader educational vision, where physical space is also a pedagogical tool, capable of influencing the learning experience and reinforcing values such as observation, care, and environmental responsibility.
The partnership with Colégio Pedro Arrupe reflects Horto do Campo Grande’s ongoing commitment to environmental education, promoting initiatives that bring young people closer to nature and contribute to a more conscious and lasting relationship with their surroundings.
