HCG’S MADE-IN-HCG FLOWER BOUQUETS PAY TRIBUTE TO THE ARTISTS AT BANCO DO BEBÉ’S CHARITY CONCERT
On July 6, Horto do Campo Grande joined the Summer Charity Concert – Zarzuelas, promoted by Banco do Bebé to mark its 35th anniversary and 60 years of artistic activity by the Regina Coeli Choir of Lisbon. To mark the occasion, our florist Carmem created the bouquets that were presented to the artists at the end of the performance—a gesture of recognition for the talent, dedication and generosity of those who put music at the service of solidarity. It’s a timeless way to mark special moments and to honour those who help ensure initiatives like this leave a lasting impression on everyone involved.
Held at the Auditório Senhora da Boa Nova in Estoril, the concert brought together the Regina Coeli Choir of Lisbon, accompanied by soloists Bruno Almeida (tenor) and Cátia Moreso (mezzo-soprano), with Tiago Cravo Mileu on piano and Abel Cardoso on percussion. In a programme dedicated to zarzuelas, operatic expressiveness, the lightness of musical theatre and moments of great emotion came together, giving the audience a memorable evening of culture and sharing.
All proceeds from the concert went to Banco do Bebé, an organisation that supports babies and families in vulnerable situations every day. Since January 2026 alone, the Home Support project has included 131 babies, supporting 119 families and strengthening its mission to provide children with a more dignified start in life through close follow-up and empowering their caregivers.
Horto do Campo Grande is proud to have contributed to this memorable evening, showing that flowers also communicate emotions and help make unforgettable the moments of tribute, recognition and sharing that make a difference in causes as important as this one.

GARDEN HORTO DO CAMPO GRANDE – SUDOESTE REINFORCES COMMITMENT TO AGRICULTURE AT THE 8TH LUSOMORANGO HORTICULTURAL CONFERENCE
On July 17, Horto do Campo Grande took part in the 8th Lusomorango Horticultural Conference, held in São Teotónio as part of FACECO 2026. Dedicated to the theme “Rebuild, Produce, Grow – Ambition and Sustainability”, the event brought together producers, companies, experts, public bodies and sector representatives to discuss some of the main challenges and opportunities in Portuguese agriculture.
As a partner organisation, HCG helped enhance the venue by providing plants and planters, helping to create a more welcoming setting in line with the event’s identity. Eng. Mário Oliveira also represented the company during the conference, following a programme marked by knowledge-sharing and reflection on topics such as the resilience of agricultural holdings, sustainability and the future of the sector.
This participation takes on particular significance at a time when Garden Horto do Campo Grande – Sudoeste, in Vila Nova de Milfontes, is strengthening its presence in one of the country’s most important agricultural regions. In addition to its usual gardening offering, the space provides technical solutions geared towards agriculture, specialised support for producers, and close follow-up tailored to the region’s specific needs.
The presence at the Lusomorango Conference thus reflects HCG’s commitment to closer ties with the agricultural sector, consolidating Garden Sudoeste’s role as a trusted partner for those who produce, cultivate and seek technical solutions adapted to today’s agricultural challenges.
