Discover the partnerships, support and collaborations that took place in June:

The Santos Populares Festival once again brought the community together for a moment of togetherness, tradition and fundraising to support the social projects developed by the Parish and the Campo Grande Parish Social Centre.
As in previous years, HCG joined the initiative by donating 200 basil plants for the charity sale held before the event.
To support plant conservation during the initiative, support trays were also provided, helping ensure they reached the public in the best condition. This collaboration continued a close relationship built over the years, reinforcing HCG’s commitment to initiatives that promote community involvement and support causes with a direct impact on the lives of people and families in the parish.

The Lisbon School of Hospitality and Tourism hosted Green Arts, an event designed to encourage debate around the environmental and social challenges shaping the future of the sector.
HCG supported the initiative by providing plants in Horto Collection planters, which were incorporated into the décor of the different spaces, helping create greener, more harmonious environments.
Throughout the week, students, trainers, alumni and invited professionals took part in sharing sessions, workshops and talks focused on new ways of thinking about tourism and hospitality. This collaboration helped strengthen HCG’s connection to educational projects that promote a more conscious relationship with the territory.

HCG joined another edition of the International Lusitano Horse Festival, helping enhance one of the most important equestrian events held in Portugal by supplying plants for the competition areas and social spaces,
The programme brought together breeders, riders, industry organisations and national and international visitors around competitions, demonstrations and equestrian presentations.
For this edition, HCG provided a selection of plants to frame and decorate the arenas, ceremony areas and reception spaces. The presence of these green elements helped enhance the venue’s different settings, reinforcing the visual comfort of the spaces and enriching the experience for participants and the public.
At an event where elegance, tradition and a connection to Portugal’s rural heritage are particularly important, the plant element also plays a key role in creating more welcoming, harmonious settings. This collaboration once again made it possible to associate HCG with an internationally recognised initiative that celebrates one of the most renowned references of Portuguese equestrian culture.

HCG joined the summer concert “Oliveira”, providing the plants for the stage and welcome areas of the Aula Magna, thus helping shape the visual identity of a celebration that honoured the 65 years of the University of Lisbon Choir. The University of Lisbon’s Aula Magna hosted the concert “Oliveira”, a show created to mark the 65th anniversary of the University of Lisbon Choir. Part of the Música na Universidade de Lisboa programme, the moment brought together the academic community, former choristers, guests and the general public in a celebration built around memory, continuity and the connection between generations.
The olive tree was the inspiring element behind the entire artistic concept. Associated with resilience, permanence and the ability to endure over time, this tree served as a metaphor for the journey of the University of Lisbon Choir over more than six decades of activity. Each piece performed formed part of a narrative that sought to evoke roots, growth and legacy, establishing a symbolic link between cultural heritage, collective identity and nature.
This collaboration continued HCG’s involvement in cultural, academic and institutional projects that recognise the value of plants in enhancing spaces and experiences. When integrated intentionally, plant species don’t just transform environments: they help tell stories, reinforce concepts and bring people closer to nature through a universal language.
