The 36th edition of the Alegro Setúbal Half Marathon, held on April 18 and 19, once again established itself as one of the region’s most significant sporting events, bringing together over 2,700 participants across various races: the half marathon (21.1 km), the 10 km run, the Family Race (5 km), the Alegro Kids’ Race, and the now-famous Dog Walk.

Promoted by the Setúbal City Council, sponsored by the Alegro Setúbal Shopping Centre, and technically organised by HMS Sports, the event was supported by several entities, including Horto do Campo Grande. The initiative stood out not only for its competitive side but also for the atmosphere of sharing, well-being, and broad participation for everyone, including four-legged companions.

Horto do Campo Grande’s presence at this event reinforces its connection to the Setúbal region, where its Garden Centre in Fernão Ferro is located, and its proximity to initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles, outdoor contact, and the appreciation of the local community. A weekend lived with energy, where running and walking were also ways to celebrate the territory.
