Self-Watering Kit for Pots with Tube (2 units)
This Self-Watering Kit with tube is a practical and efficient solution to keep your plants properly hydrated during periods of absence or whenever you want to reduce watering frequency.
The system works completely autonomously without the need for electricity or batteries. Each ceramic cone gradually releases water directly into the substrate as the plant needs it, maintaining a more stable moisture level and preventing both overwatering and underwatering.
Simply fill the cone with water, place it in the pot, and connect the tube to a water container. As the substrate dries, the cone creates a small pressure difference that automatically draws more water through the tube, ensuring continuous supply.
It’s ideal for indoor plants, balcony pots, winter gardens, open terrariums, and other container-grown plants. For large pots, it may be advisable to use two or more self-watering systems.
Benefits
Automatic watering without the need for electricity or batteries.
Maintains the substrate with a more balanced moisture level.
Ideal for holidays, trips, or extended absences.
Prevents excessive watering or dry periods.
Easy to install and reuse.
Compatible with most pots and indoor plants.
SPECIFICATIONS
Contents: 2 self-watering systems with tube
Cone material: Porous ceramic
Power: No electricity required
Operating mode: Capillarity / natural water suction
Use: Container-grown plants (indoor or sheltered outdoor)
Directions for use
Place the ceramic cone fully submerged in water for about 15 minutes.
Fill the cone with water.
Carefully insert the cone into the substrate, near the plant’s roots.
Connect the tube to the cone.
Place the other end of the tube in a water container, positioned at the same level or slightly below the pot.
The system will automatically start supplying water as the plant needs it.
Care
Always use clean water.
Regularly check that the tube has no kinks or blockages.
Periodically clean the ceramic cone to prevent limescale or impurity buildup.
For large pots or plants with high water consumption, it may be necessary to use more than one system.
