Scientific name: Asplenium Parvati
Common Names: Asplenium, Mother Fern, Mother Fern
Family: Aspleniaceae
Origin: Asia and Australia
Known as the hardiest Asplenium in the family, Asplenium Parvati has very jagged, thick leaves. In addition to being very resistant, it is easy to maintain, which makes it perfect for those who are starting out in gardening, or want to add an easier-to-care-for plant to their urban jungle.
Watering: Like most ferns, Asplenium needs plenty of water. Make sure the plant remains slightly moist. To see if it is time to water it, put your finger 3cm deep and see if the substrate is still damp. If it’s not very moist, it’s time to water!
Climate: As a self-respecting tropical plant, it prefers humid environments and adapts very well to bathrooms or kitchens.
Category: Indoor plant
Lighting: Half-shade/indirect sunlight
Pet-friendly: Asplenium is non-toxic to animals.
