Commonly known as the “Money Tree”, the Pachira Aquatica is probably one of the oldest plants associated with fortune and happiness. That’s why it’s widely used to decorate offices, homes, shops and shopping centres across Asia. Apparently, having it nearby brings good energy, and the origin of this belief lies in its leaves: palmate with five leaflets, easily linked to the 5 elements of Feng Shui: earth, fire, wood, water and metal. Besides this link to luck/happiness, this plant—native to swampy areas of Central America, northern Brazil and Peru (and in our climate it should be kept indoors)—is low-maintenance, elegant and eye-catching. Make sure you place it somewhere with plenty of indirect/filtered light, check that the air inside your home isn’t too dry, keep it away from heating/cooling systems, don’t overwater, and never forget that standing water (in the saucer or in decorative pots without drainage holes) can rot the roots. Light: Prefers plenty of indirect light, but also tolerates light shade. However, placing it in overly dark spaces can compromise its growth.
Watering: Water when the soil is dry, with plenty of water, allowing excess water to drain well. In winter reduce the frequency of watering.
Temperature: Likes mild temperatures (15 to 25ºC) and environments with some relative humidity.
Fertilising: Apply a suitable product for green/indoor plants once a month during the growing season (spring–summer).

Yes, you can choose to pick up your products at one of our 3 Garden Centers (Campo Grande, Quinta da Eira-Sintra, and Fernão Ferro).
After the order is shipped, the system sends an email to the address provided by the customer with the tracking number from CTT, our distribution partner, so you can track the order.
To ensure you receive the products in the best condition, only one delivery attempt is planned. We suggest you choose a day and time when someone will be home to receive the order, provide a contact phone number, and include any useful instructions in the notes.

For legal reasons, when plants leave our Garden Centers, their phytosanitary passport loses its validity, so they cannot be placed back into the commercial circuit. Therefore, we cannot exchange or accept returns for plants or flowers.

After receiving the product, you have 14 days to communicate your intent to return it (Article 10 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014); after communication, you have another 14 days to send the product.
