Description: Its long, thin leaves have a sharp point and a ‘thread’ that runs along the edge, giving it a unique appearance and the common name of thread agave.

This plant can produce a large flower after several years of growth and this is accompanied by a stem that extends from the centre of the flower.

Agave Filifera is very drought-resistant, which makes it ideal for regions with little water or for those looking for a low-maintenance outdoor plant.

Lighting: Direct sunlight

Watering: Watering should be moderate and does not need to be frequent. Reduce watering in the colder months of the year. Avoid watering when the soil is still wet.

Fertilisation: It can be fertilised occasionally during the growing season, spring and summer, always in small quantities.

Not pet friendly: Can be toxic when ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
