In the mid-19th century, tile “decoration” was integrated with ethnographic panels, and later, it would feature works from Maria Keil’s modernist project—becoming a representation of various eras and cultural and social values.
To develop its new identity, the century-old brewery drew inspiration from the arches in its interior and has now emerged with a positioning even more focused on its origins and Lisbon, maintaining the essence that made it a successful venue.

A more modern and renovated brewery

The interiors were designed by Atelier de Arquitectura Ana Costa.
