As part of these celebrations, Horto do Campo Grande was invited to take part in a very special event next October 5, the date that marks the establishment of the Republic.<\/p>\n\n<p>From 10am to 6pm, the gardens of Pal\u00e1cio Pimenta will be open to the public to pay tribute to the moments of change and renewal that are part of the city\u2019s and the country\u2019s history. As part of this celebration, our presence takes on a very special character with the initiative \u201cA Revolution of Flowers\u201d, brought to life through a personalised flower stall decorated with plants, featuring many red carnation plants.<\/p>\n\n<p>Inspired by the exhibition &#8220;Lisbon in Revolution 1383-1974&#8221;, currently on display at the museum, Horto do Campo Grande\u2019s contribution symbolises the transformation and hope that flowers\u2014especially red carnations\u2014represent in Portuguese history and society.
