Light<\/strong>: Bright indirect light or partial shade (it can\u2019t handle direct sun, and in very low-light spaces it will grow less, although it\u2019s one of the palms that best tolerates lower light\u2014better than Areca, for example!)
Watering<\/strong>: Like most palms, it doesn\u2019t need much water, but the substrate shouldn\u2019t dry out completely. Ideally, keep it slightly moist on the surface (but avoid waterlogging or standing water in saucers or decorative pots without drainage holes). Yellow leaves can indicate overwatering, and crispy brown tips can mean it needs more water. Don\u2019t forget that, just like people and animals, plants also need their hydration levels adjusted depending on the season. Even indoors, a plant needs less watering in winter than in summer.
