Its thick, rounded roots and fleshy leaves—which, interestingly, grow straight from the soil—let it store water inside, making it one of the plants that best survives with less watering. In our climate, and when potted, Zamioculcas do well indoors—bedrooms, living rooms, offices, entry halls, shops, etc. They’re low-maintenance plants, extremely hardy, slow-growing, but very striking. Its near self-sufficiency, deep green colour, and incredible leaf shine—plus the original way the leaves sit along the stem—make it a must for anyone wanting to create a green corner, a little Urban Jungle at home. It’s definitely a must-have for interior décor. Its beauty and toughness are the 2 features that make it so popular with everyone. But that’s not all: the Zamioculca is an air-purifying plant, helping very effectively to remove toxins from the air around it. And as if that weren’t enough, it’s also associated with prosperity and good luck. Don’t hesitate to get this plant for yourself or as a gift for someone you care about.
