With broad green leaves streaked with beige or light green, Scindapsus <\/em>is a must-have for plant beginners. It’s incredibly easy to care for, grows relatively fast, and is one of the most iconic plants of the Urban Jungle trend! Highly ornamental with dense, lush, and glossy foliage, it’s almost impossible not to drape its vines around mirrors or wall art, wrap them around decor and stair railings, or find creative ways to pin the leafy stems to walls for a greener, more soulful space. You can also add a moss pole (coco coir) to the pot and train the vines up it, creating a dense column of foliage and guiding vertical growth. CUIDADOS<\/strong>
Light<\/strong>: Prefers bright, indirect\/filtered light but also tolerates shadier spots. Does not tolerate full\/direct sun.
Temperature<\/strong>: Likes mild temperatures between 10-25\u00baC and some relative humidity (don’t place this plant near heating or cooling systems as they dry out the air and lower humidity!).
Watering<\/strong>: Moderate – let the soil dry out between waterings to avoid waterlogging. It’s a plant that tolerates short periods of drought. When in doubt, wait and water a few days later. In winter, it’s important to water less often (this applies to most plants!). Soft, yellow leaves or moldy soil can be a sign of overwatering!
