With broad green leaves, more or less streaked with beige\/light green, Scindapsus<\/em> is a \u201cmust-have\u201d for beginners in the world of plants, as it\u2019s truly very easy to care for, grows relatively quickly, and is one of the most iconic plants of the Urban Jungle<\/em> trend! It\u2019s extremely ornamental, with dense, lush, glossy foliage, and it\u2019s almost impossible to resist the temptation to drape its stems around mirrors or pictures hanging on the wall, wrap them around decorative pieces or stair railings, or find original ways to secure its leafy stems to walls, enjoying greener, more soulful spaces. You can also place this plant on high shelves or furniture, creating elegant decorative effects perfectly aligned with trends like Urban Jungle<\/em>. You can also add a moss pole (coco coir) to the pot and train the vines up it, creating a dense column of foliage and guiding vertical growth. Plus, it’s an air-purifying plant that helps remove toxins from the surrounding air, making it a perfect choice for offices or bedrooms.<\/p>\n

CUIDADOS<\/strong>
Light:<\/strong> Likes plenty of indirect\/filtered light, but also tolerates shadier spots. Does not tolerate full\/direct sun.
Temperature:<\/strong> Likes mild temperatures, between 10\u201325\u00b0C, and some relative humidity in the air (don\u2019t place this plant near heating\/cooling systems as that dries the air, i.e., lowers humidity!).
Watering<\/strong>: Moderate \u2013 let the substrate\/soil dry out between waterings to avoid waterlogging. It’s a plant that tolerates short periods of drought. When in doubt, wait and water a few days later. In winter, it’s important to water less often (this applies to most plants!). Soft, yellow leaves or moldy soil can be a sign of overwatering!
Soil:<\/strong> Should be grown in airy substrates that ensure good drainage.
Fertilising:<\/strong> Once a month during spring\u2013summer, with a fertiliser suitable for green plants.
Pruning:<\/strong> Only to control growth and remove damaged leaves or dry stems.
