The quality and well-being criteria that define the company’s culture were reflected in sustainable construction practices, which were integrated throughout the process by Openbook, responsible for the architectural design of Miniclip’s new headquarters in Taguspark, Oeiras.<\/p>\n\n
With the adoption of new hybrid working models as a result of the pandemic, the workplace is now a meeting place where employees go to work collaboratively, which has led to transformations in the design of the spaces themselves.<\/p>\n\n
The entire Openbook project aimed to help strike a balance between work and leisure. It created a range of open-space zones, informal and collaborative work areas, meeting rooms and phone booths, a quiet area, an amphitheatre, a gym, a cafeteria, a games area, and a fully landscaped outdoor zone that includes a large terrace. The main goals were to frame the building and to provide spaces that invite people to spend time outdoors. <\/p>\n\n
Vertical gardens are a creative and practical solution for making better use of space, creating livelier, more inviting environments. In Miniclip\u2019s canteen area, a large vertical garden was built, and suspended plants were installed on the ceiling grilles.
