The Campolide Bonsai Center and Kensho Bonsai Studio will provide all Bonsai Art lovers with a bonsai school featuring several practical sessions aimed at developing and deepening different techniques and themes of this art throughout the 4 training modules (8h each) that make up the first year.

Participants are invited to bring their own specimens—whether they are bonsai, pre-bonsai, or other materials to be developed—so that a plan of the techniques to be applied can be drawn up based on the analysis of each specimen. This training aims for participants to create their own bonsai, with the possibility of doing so with great aesthetic precision intended for exhibition.

Dates for the 4 training modules:

  • May 23
  • September 7
  • November 16
  • December 14

Topics covered:

  • Bonsai Pruning: different techniques
  • Bonsai Aesthetic Principles
