The first Sunday in May is special. It marks motherhood, the resilience and dedication of mothers. A mother is… life, love, strength, courage, inspiration… someone who celebrates all achievements and teaches us to love. They deserve all the love in the world, every day, but having a date to celebrate Mother’s Day makes everything even more special.
It all started with… white carnations
The idea of Mother’s Day in the United States came from a feminist, Anna Reese Jarvis, who in 1905 launched a movement to create a “national mothers’ day” after losing her own mother. Two years later, on May 10, 1907, the first Mother’s Day was celebrated. On that day, Anna sent 500 white carnations to the church where the celebrations were taking place, symbolizing all the good things about motherhood: purity, strength, and the endurance of mothers.
Surprise your mother with flowers, carefully wrapped in her favorite color
With all mothers in mind, Horto do Campo Grande has created flower bouquets, carefully wrapped in colored papers, for a more personalized gift. Delicate flowers, roses, gerberas, daisies, orchids, carnations, with touches of greenery, statice, or perennials that have the ability to convey the beauty and diversity of experiences surrounding motherhood. That’s why they deserve to be celebrated with love, joy, and flowers. Flowers wrapped in bright, beautiful colors for happy mothers!

Plants are also a great option…
They convey tranquility, help reduce stress, purify the air, and enhance any décor.
