The new Ageas Group Portugal headquarters located in Parque das Nações, Lisbon—Ageas Tejo—designed by architect Eduardo Capinha Lopes, was the project chosen to receive the award in the office category at the World Architecture Festival, one of the most prestigious events dedicated to the architecture industry.

Set on a 7,400 m2 plot, the development resulted in an iconic building 62.5 m high. Designed to house the Ageas Group Portugal Headquarters, the entire development was conceived to adapt to current and future working circumstances; this new property is aligned with the company’s values, focusing on environmental concern, sustainability, and social responsibility.

For Steven Braekeveldt, CEO of Ageas Group Portugal, “the distinction from the World Architecture Festival proves that it is possible to create a high-quality work environment, consistent with a modern workplace.” Adding that “winning this award largely reflects the investment in our Employees’ well-being and how that point is fundamental for business growth,” says the executive, concluding that “it is a building where people feel at home and where creativity and innovation thrive.”

The building was developed in line with all sustainability goals and holds BREEAM certification. The architect created areas with plenty of natural light inside the building, providing high work quality and comfort for the employees working in this building. The facades are highly dynamic and marked by interaction with the community through exterior lights alluding to various themes and campaigns.

It is with great pleasure that Horto do Campo Grande Group congratulates Ageas Group on this award. We are proud to have clients who invest in the sustainability of spaces, in the creation of indoor and outdoor green spaces for the well-being of their Employees, and in a contribution to the common good.
