Colégio Pedro Arrupe promotes an activity to bring students closer to nature

On March 20, the date that marks the start of spring, Colégio Pedro Arrupe held another edition of the “What does this have to do with me?” tour, which was supported by Horto do Campo Grande. As is tradition, a “lush jungle” was created in the 5th grade corridor to set the tone for the activity. Students were surprised by a corridor transformed into a green maze and had the chance to learn about plants and biodiversity in a playful, fun environment. The activity aimed to bring students closer to nature, encourage the study of plants, and spark students’ curiosity about the importance of biodiversity.

Tree planting at Belas Clube de Campo

On March 21, Belas Clube de Campo celebrated the International Day of Forests and World Tree Day with a tree-planting activity carried out by students from Jardim-Escola João de Deus de Belas. More than 100 trees were planted on the development, with the support of Horto do Campo Grande. The initiative highlights the importance of preserving the environment and maintaining ecosystem balance, while also offering benefits such as improved air quality and the creation of habitats for animals.

Diplomatic Bazaar donation handover ceremony

Horto do Campo Grande attended the donation handover ceremony for the 2022 Diplomatic Bazaar, held on March 28 at the former Coach Museum, in Praça Afonso de Albuquerque, Lisbon. The event was attended by the President of the Republic and brought together various authorities and public figures to celebrate the solidarity and generosity of everyone who contributed to the initiative.

Horto do Campo Grande is the setting for a fashion shoot with Beatriz Costa

On March 31, Horto do Campo Grande hosted a fashion photo shoot for Caras magazine, starring actress Beatriz Costa. The lush greenery and vibrant flower colours created a natural, enchanting atmosphere that served as the backdrop for the photos.

Gisela João returns to Horto do Campo Grande for an interview with CBRE

On April 10, Horto do Campo Grande welcomed a visit from singer Gisela João. The artist chose HCG as the location for an interview celebrating CBRE’s 10th anniversary. It’s not the first time Gisela João has shown her affection for Horto do Campo Grande, having already confessed that this is “the place in Lisbon that melts her heart”.

Exhibition “What Was Left Unsaid” at ISCTE

The ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon Library hosted, from April 1 to 30, the exhibition “What Was Left Unsaid: Censorship in Culture and the Arts – 1936–1974” by the Portuguese Society of Authors. On April 20, an informal talk was held about censorship in culture with lecturers and researchers from ISCTE and other universities. The initiative was supported by HCG, which provided carnations for the occasion, a symbol of freedom in Portugal.

Pés de Cereja Summer Collection photographed at Quinta da Eira

In April, the Quinta da Eira Garden Centre was chosen as the perfect setting for the shoot of Pés de Cereja’s Summer 2023 collection. The natural beauty of the location, with its flowers, trees and other plants, served as the backdrop for the photos, resulting in images that convey the freshness and joy that characterise this national children’s footwear brand’s collection.
