The Quinta da Eira Garden Center in Sintra was the location for the photoshoot of Vintage Bazaar’s new RIO collection.

“It’s a collection that reflects the soul of Vintage Bazaar.” This is how Patrícia Nunes Pereira describes the new collection from her brand, which was founded in 2007 in Santo Amaro de Oeiras.

A regular customer of Horto do Campo Grande, the creator of this Portuguese brand challenged Horto do Campo Grande to a partnership, believing that the natural, green environment of our garden centers would result in excellent photographs for presenting the new collection. Quinta da Eira established itself as the shooting location, where engineer Amélia Domingos and the entire team worked hard to prepare the setting and welcomed the Vintage Bazaar team with kindness and good spirits. The lush vegetation of the outdoor plant area of the garden center proved to be the ideal background for the model to showcase the pieces from the new collection.

The name of the collection, which had not yet been decided at that point, emerged there. The tropical atmosphere, the large palm trees, the strelitzias, and the multiple shades of green characteristic of the Quinta da Eira Garden Center brought back memories for the brand’s creator of days spent in Rio de Janeiro. RIO was the chosen name, inspired by the Brazilian city, also known as the Marvelous City, which became famous for the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema and for Christ the Redeemer, and which the entrepreneur wanted to honor.
