The urban landscape has been transformed and green spaces now play an increasingly important role in city life. At the Colombo Shopping Centre, one of the largest in Europe, greenery takes on great expression in the outdoor spaces that surround the building and which have a function that goes far beyond the aesthetic component.
Lively, balanced areas that act as veritable green lungs, helping to purify the air, control the temperature and even reduce noise. These benefits also extend to the well-being of those who pass through on a daily basis, be they visitors, workers or shopkeepers. Horto do Campo Grande maintains these outdoor areas, ensuring the healthy growth of all species.

“HCG is delighted to see that this and other types of green solutions are increasingly being integrated into architectural projects. Our mission is to contribute responsibly to a greener and more sustainable city, benefiting all those who live in it or enjoy it with a better quality of life,” says Patrícia Brízida, Landscape Architect in charge of the Exterior Maintenance Department at Horto do Campo Grande.
