Horto do Campo Grande recently welcomed two new interns from the ISA (Instituto Superior de Agronomia), strengthening the bond it has cultivated with this prestigious educational institution.
Engineer Rita Cabral from the Green Spaces Design and Construction Department and Engineer Mário Oliveira from the Exterior Maintenance Department welcomed Cristiana Estima and Andrea Dombe to the company. They came to us through a new protocol with ISA to carry out curricular internships (of 3 to 4 weeks) as part of the ‘Internship’ course of the Landscape Architecture and Agronomic Engineering degrees. Despite being from different degrees, the internships have consisted of following the routine of the two technicians, from carrying out visits to estimate work, supporting the design of technical-commercial proposals and supervising work in progress.

“These internships reinforce HCG’s role as an open and socially committed company.” “We know that offering a first opportunity can mark an entire career. And we’re very proud of that”, say internship supervisors Eng. Rita Cabral and Eng. Mário Oliveira, respectively.
The current era is one of enormous workload and dynamism, which has given the young women a good insight into the reality of the labour market, such as time management and prioritisation, relations with clients and relations between department colleagues, among other aspects. At Horto do Campo Grande, we value those who come with a desire to learn and grow, who bring fresh ideas and want to be part of something bigger.
