Made from 1.5 mm sheet metal, a material that can also be used outdoors, they are spray-painted in the colour and finish – matt, semi-matt or gloss – chosen by the customer and which best blends into the desired decor.
All the planters have bent edges and are lined inside with fibreglass to protect them from the dampness of the earth. They are given an anti-corrosion treatment to ensure greater durability and resistance, which is essential for their use outdoors.
HortoCollection planters have a reservoir inside where excess water from irrigation is stored, thus preventing root rot, and which at the same time serves to maintain humidity levels whenever the plant needs it. This system ensures that the plants grow well and at the same time guarantees more sustainable irrigation.
The anti-corrosion protection can be reinforced according to the characteristics of the place where the planter will be placed – places with high salinity or a high UV index require extra protection so that the planter doesn’t rust, or the colour doesn’t get “burnt” by the sun. To meet these and other needs, Horto do Campo Grande uses products certified according to ISO 12944 specifications.
