The PHC Group (Portuguese Hospitality Collection) is a national hotel management group whose portfolio includes the iconic Hotel Mundial, the Portugal Boutique Hotel, My Suite Lisbon Guest House, and the most recent addition, Convent Square Hotel Vignette Collection. All properties are located in the heart of Lisbon, each with a distinctive concept and its own identity. However, aware of the impacts inherent to the development of its economic activity in the tourism sector, the impact on the life of the community in which it operates, and its contribution to the Portuguese business fabric, PHC Hotels defines its Sustainability Policy based on ESG metrics (environmental, social and governance), which it adopts as pillars of a sustainable development strategy aligned with the sustainability goals and targets assumed by Member States, including Portugal, as set out in the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

With the iconic Hotel Mundial, with over 60 years of history, in its portfolio, Portuguese Hospitality Collection has taken on the mission to “Honor the past and reinvent the future,” ensuring enriching experiences for its guests and clients that exceed their expectations.
Charismatic and memorable, this hotel is undergoing an extensive renovation. Horto do Campo Grande, specifically its interior design team led by engineer and decorator Vera Quintas, contributes its expertise by proposing solutions that integrate into the biophilic design concept intended for the different spaces.
The main entrance area, reception, and lobby, where guests make their first contact with the hotel, is a space with natural light where carefully designed areas transform each moment into an unforgettable experience. Spacious seating areas have been strategically surrounded in different ways with plants, whether placed in custom-developed Horto Collection planters, suspended from existing columns, or in glazed-finish pots, creating natural screens and the perfect setting to relax and make guests’ stays unique.
Large plants with lush foliage, such as Strelitzia nicolai and Monstera deliciosa, blend with smaller plants of different textures and shades of green—Calatheas, Chamaedorea, Scindapsus—creating a natural and exotic atmosphere.
