Casagrand Lisboa

In the heart of the Alfama neighborhood, among narrow alleys and viewpoints overlooking the Tagus, Casagrand Lisboa reveals a new life in a building that holds decades of memories. A former school, fado house, jazz club, and even a medical practice, this iconic space is now reborn as a sophisticated retreat, designed for families and groups seeking authenticity, comfort, and privacy in the historic center of the capital.

The rehabilitation project, designed by the architecture firm Entre Planos, with interior design by Cellar Interiorismo, restores the soul of the building and introduces a new concept of living: contemporary, sustainable, and deeply connected to the city.

Horto do Campo Grande’s green intervention

Horto do Campo Grande was responsible for the execution and supply of the plant solutions integrated into this project, in work carried out by the Green Spaces Project and Construction Department team, under the coordination of Vera Quintas. The intervention was based on a careful curation of natural species and decorative planters, with the aim of enhancing the welcoming and elegant atmosphere of the building’s interiors and courtyards.

The planters, selected for their aesthetic coherence and materiality, reinforce the project’s visual identity and establish continuity between the interior and exterior. The plant species were chosen according to the light, temperature, and use of the spaces, favoring resilience, freshness, and visual harmony. Throughout the common and private areas, the plants take on the role of structural elements of comfort and well-being, enriching the sensory and emotional experience of guests.
