Recently, HCG was present at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Solidarity Cocktail, held on October 15th at the Belém Cultural Center in Lisbon, to mark the Foundation’s 25th anniversary. We brought a touch of the freshness and harmony of our plants to this very special event, helping to create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere and reinforcing the spirit of unity and hope that characterizes this cause. Our contribution was received with words of sincere gratitude from the Foundation, which highlighted Horto do Campo Grande’s role as “a true guiding light” in an event that celebrates solidarity and support for families with children and young people undergoing hospital treatment in the 14 NHS hospitals supported by the institution.
Also in October, HCG joined the Amigas do Peito Association Solidarity Gala, held on the 24th at the Aula Magna of the University of Lisbon Rectory. We supported this initiative by offering flower bouquets to the artists who participated in the gala’s musical performance. It was with great pleasure that we contributed to this celebration, promoted by an institution that, since 2008, has provided emotional, informative, and social support to women and men with breast cancer, helping them find balance and hope throughout the entire treatment process.
At the end of the month, Horto do Campo Grande also joined the AIMS Masterclasses, an initiative promoted by the Students’ Association of the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon (AEFML), which took place at Santa Maria Hospital on October 29th. Part of the spirit of sustainability and innovation of the AIMS Meeting, these masterclasses brought together hundreds of medical students in an event that combines science, training, and environmental responsibility. HCG supported this edition by providing plants for the decoration of the stage and congress areas, reinforcing the shared commitment to promoting a greener and more conscious culture within the academic community.
In all these actions, Horto do Campo Grande reaffirms its purpose: to take nature further, contributing to causes that make well-being, solidarity, and hope flourish.
