What attracts bonsai enthusiasts most is its low maintenance and high resilience (it’s often said that “you need a degree to kill a Ficus!”), combined with the beauty of its bark and aerial roots.

Light: Place indoors near a window (max. 50cm distance), without curtains or blinds, where it gets 2 to 3 hours of direct sunlight per day, rotating it 180Âş weekly. Keep away from heating/cooling systems.
Watering: Abundant, until plenty of water flows from the drainage holes to evenly moisten the soil—always from above, never by immersion—using a fine-nozzle watering can (specific for Bonsai). Let the top layer of soil dry slightly between waterings. To check if the plant needs water, touch the soil with your fingers. If you place a tray under the Bonsai, never leave standing water (to prevent root rot). There is no benefit to misting the leaves; only do so on fertilizing days if using foliar fertilizer, ensuring they are dry by nightfall to prevent fungus.
Nutrition: From Feb to Oct/Nov, with a fertilization plan consisting of a complete fertilizer and a biostimulant, which can also be combined with other products.
Pruning: Due to its large leaf size, it should always be controlled by “Metsumi” at the start of budding. When cut, it releases latex, which can be “stopped” by misting the plant with water.
Repotting: Use Deciduous Bonsai Soil from May to Jun (until mid-July), after defoliation or heavy pruning.
Wiring: During defoliation in the warm months (Jun-Jul); it is a very resilient plant that withstands heavy work and responds well, provided it is healthy.

After the order is shipped, the system sends an email to the address provided by the customer with the tracking number from CTT, our distribution partner, so you can track the order.
To ensure you receive the products in the best condition, only one delivery attempt is planned. We suggest you choose a day and time when someone will be home to receive the order, provide a contact phone number, and include any useful instructions in the notes.

For legal reasons, when plants leave our Garden Centers, their phytosanitary passport loses its validity, so they cannot be placed back into the commercial circuit. Therefore, we cannot exchange or accept returns for plants or flowers.

After receiving the product, you have 14 days to communicate your intent to return it (Article 10 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014); after communication, you have another 14 days to send the product.
