2 – The species Abies fraseri, Abies nordmanniana, and Picea omorika have roots and are delivered potted. However, if you intend to plant these trees in your garden after the Christmas season, please note the following:
Location: As these conifers naturally grow outdoors in cold climates, they should spend as little time as possible indoors. When kept indoors, place them in a cool, frequently ventilated spot, away from heat sources like fireplaces or radiators.
Watering: Water regularly (don’t forget to place a saucer under the pot to protect your floor). But be careful not to overwater, as this can cause root rot. After watering, make sure the saucer isn’t full of water, or only water again once the saucer is empty.
Light: When planting in the garden, choose a sunny spot that isn’t too exposed during peak heat, especially in the warmer months.
Soil: They can be planted in all types of substrates/soils, though limestone should be avoided.
3 – We have rooted firs available from 80cm to 2.40m (heights from 1.50m are only available for in-store pickup).
