Light: Adapts to full sun or partial shade. In very hot climates, it benefits from some protection during the most intense sunlight hours.
Temperature: Tolerates cold and frost well, withstanding down to around –15 °C. Prefers temperate climates.
Watering: Moderate. Soil should be kept slightly moist, especially for potted plants. Avoid waterlogging, as roots are sensitive to excess water.
Humidity: Prefers fresh, well-drained soil. Doesn’t like excessively dry environments for long periods.
Fertilization: Apply slow-release fertilizer for shrubs in early spring and again in summer to stimulate growth and maintain dense, green foliage.
