The main difference from Chamaedorea elegans is that this Chamaedorea seifrizii is a taller palm, often with multiple stems and more vigorous growth. Chamaedorea elegans is generally more compact and shorter. Chamaedorea seifrizii does well indoors and, like the ‘elegans’, enjoys warmth and humid environments. Its abundant, broad, fine leaves and tall habit give it an exotic look, much loved in interior dĂ©cor. It likes a spot with good light and doesn’t need much care. At home, place it in a corner with plenty of indirect light, at a mild room temperature year-round, and away from heating/cooling systems. It’s the perfect plant if you want to create a tropical vibe at home. It’s hardy, belongs to the “air-purifying” plants as it helps remove toxins from indoor air, and it’s a great choice if you have pets because it’s non-toxic to animals (or people). In optimal conditions/in the ground, this little palm can grow up to 2 m, although it may take decades to reach that size.

Light: Plenty of indirect/filtered light. Tolerates direct sun in the early morning hours. In this case, its leaves will tend to become lighter.

Yes, you can choose to pick up your products at one of our 3 Garden Centers (Campo Grande, Quinta da Eira-Sintra, and FernĂŁo Ferro).
After the order is shipped, the system sends an email to the address provided by the customer with the tracking number from CTT, our distribution partner, so you can track the order.
To ensure you receive the products in the best condition, only one delivery attempt is planned. We suggest you choose a day and time when someone will be home to receive the order, provide a contact phone number, and include any useful instructions in the notes.

For legal reasons, when plants leave our Garden Centers, their phytosanitary passport loses its validity, so they cannot be placed back into the commercial circuit. Therefore, we cannot exchange or accept returns for plants or flowers.

After receiving the product, you have 14 days to communicate your intent to return it (Article 10 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014); after communication, you have another 14 days to send the product.
