If you want to give your home a tropical feel, the Kentia Forsteriana is the ideal palm. It requires little care and is tolerant of shady environments. To keep Kentia healthy, the secret is to reproduce the tropical conditions from which they originate. Mild temperatures all year round and some humidity ensure that the Kentia feels at home.
Lighting: Indirect light
Watering: Water when the soil surface is dry. Yellow leaves may indicate over-watering and brown tips that it needs more water.
Fertilising: Fertilise once a month during the growing season with a liquid fertiliser.
Pet Friendly: Kentia Forsteriana is considered safe for pets such as cats and dogs. However, it is always recommended to avoid ingesting the leaves or parts of the plant.
