Aglaonemas are a great option for bringing beauty indoors! There are countless varieties, all with a distinct and unexpected look. Like Calatheas, they almost seem like artificial plants, such are the colors and patterns they display, whose beauty and exoticism surprise us. Like Calatheas, they are also valued for their ability to help purify the small layer of indoor air around them. However, unlike Calatheas, they are toxic if ingested by pets. Therefore, it’s best to monitor the presence of more curious pets (and small children) around these plants, or place them out of reach. In Aglaonema ‘Silver Queen’ the leaves have variation between silver and dark green, with green margins or veins that contrast with the central silver, giving it an elegant appearance. The plant has moderate growth, forming clumps with a short stem. The flowers are inconspicuous, typically small spathes of greenish or white color.
