Haws Lisboa Terrace

Haws is accommodation designed for people who live and work in the city for a certain period of time, offering its guests everything they need to truly immerse themselves in the neighborhood’s culture. Creating a space inspired by the neighborhood and the experiences of the local community was the starting point for providing residents and guests with an environment where they can gather and share good moments.

Outdoor area

Upon entering Haws Lisboa, everyone is welcomed by a pleasant outdoor area with modern, colorful furniture that invites you to stay. The gravel paving is interrupted by round beds with a low-growing green cover of Dichondra repens, complemented by some accents with taller plants such as Phormium tenax purpurea, which break the monotony and where, in each of them, a tree of a different species (Acer pseudoplatanus; Cercis siliquastrum; Magnolia grandiflora) makes a strong presence.

On all the balconies, Strelizias Nicolai and Ficus Benjamina, placed in terracotta pots and in custom-designed and produced Horto Collection planters, blend in with the decor and allow spaces to be defined, making them more intimate and cosy.

Horto Collection flower boxes

Extending from the bed, a custom-made planter, Horto Collection, was developed to separate the leisure area—the terrace—from the entrance itself. In this bed and planter, the choice of Horto do Campo Grande’s landscape architect, Vera Quintas, focused on species such as Acanthus mollis; Agapanthus africanus blue; Asparagus densiflorus myersii; Clivia miniata; Fatsia japonica; Festuca glauca; Hemerocallis hybrida; Ophiopogon japonicus minima; Phormium tenax purpurea; and Trachelospermum jasminoides, plants that help define the circulation spaces from the seating areas.
