A project designed to promote collaboration and wellbeing in a flexible, contemporary setting.
Concept and integrated design
The complete renovation of the space, signed by Studio Astolfi, aimed to create a welcoming atmosphere without losing the creative, multifunctional energy that defines coworking. The new layout is organised around a large shared area on the entrance floor, bringing together a lounge, work areas, a café and an auditorium. Warm materials—wood, textiles, a carefully chosen colour palette, flexible furniture solutions and planters with natural plants—helped create a more comfortable, functional and inspiring environment.
Lightness and colour with Horto Collection fibreglass planters
The Horto do Campo Grande Interior Decoration team was challenged to integrate greenery into the space’s new concept. The proposal involved using Horto Collection cylindrical planters, made from fibreglass—a lightweight, durable and watertight material. With a semi-gloss finish and a blue-green shade created specifically to complement the project’s colour palette. The planters were fitted with castors to allow easy movement whenever a new reorganisation of the spaces is needed.
Selection of plants used across the different areas of LAC Santos
The choice of species prioritised indoor plants of different sizes, foliage and textures, able to enhance the space without compromising visual flow. Species such as Strelitzia nicolai, Ficus lyrata, Monstera deliciosa and Spathiphyllum helped define areas and create subtle separations, while smaller plants such as Calathea, Chamaedorea, Hedera, Scindapsus, Syngonium and Zamioculcas were integrated into shelving and partition elements, adding lightness and a natural feel to the overall design. Beyond the aesthetic aspect, the presence of greenery helps improve air quality and the wellbeing of those who use the space every day.
