Monte da Bemposta

Located on the West Coast, with unobstructed views over Pessegueiro Island, we find this recent Biosphere-certified rural holiday resort, which combines the serenity of the Alentejo plains with the freshness of the sea, and offers a vast portfolio of activities to those who stay there.

Exterior

At Monte da Bemposta, the entire surrounding area has been designed to maintain the characteristics of the site and reinforce its sustainability. The terrain has been carefully modelled to preserve its naturalness and create areas that guarantee privacy for guests, while still allowing them to enjoy the view and the wonderful sunsets. For this vast space, Horto do Campo Grande’s landscape architecture team selected a plant cast that is mainly indigenous, medium-low in size and with a pioneer coating, thus allowing for the future occurrence of natural vegetation that will be selectively maintained by the maintenance team. In the transition zones to the natural landscape, meadows have been sown, where spontaneous wildflowers sprout, making it possible to install future structures and the many animals that inhabit the hill and delight the children who visit.
