As if that weren’t enough, these Meilland roses—created by the House of Meilland in France over 100 years ago—grow relatively quickly and offer abundant, colorful blooms, typically from spring to late autumn. Meilland climbing rose variety ‘Cyclamen Pierre de Ronsard – Margaret Mae’:
Flower colour: Deep pink, combined with a warm greyish pink/silvery highlights (pink tone gradient).
Fragrance: Light scent.
Flowering type: Repeat-flowering, from spring to autumn (produces about 3 flowers per stem).
Flower size: Large, double blooms in a romantic/old-fashioned shape, about 11–13 cm, with around 70 petals.
Height: Climber that can reach 2.75 m, an excellent choice for walls, fences, pergolas and arches.

Meilland climbing rose variety ‘Golden Pareo’:
Flower colour: Intense yellow.
Fragrance: The flowers release a subtle and pleasant scent that enriches the environment.
Flowering type: Continuous, from spring to autumn (can produce more than 5 flowers per stem).
Flower size: Cup-shaped flowers, 6 to 8cm with about 30 petals.
Height: Climber that can reach 2.50m, making it an excellent choice for walls, fences, pergolas, and arches.

CUIDADOS
Light: They need direct sun for good flowering – ideally at least 5 to 6 hours of sunlight per day.
Temperature: Rose bushes are well adapted to our temperate climate. They tolerate cold and moderate frosts, and can withstand negative temperatures in winter.
Watering: Regular to moderate after planting, in the first summer and during flowering periods. The substrate should remain slightly moist, avoiding waterlogging. If in a pot, watch out for water retained in saucers or pots without drainage holes where watering water can stagnate and promote root rot. Reduce watering in winter – when outdoors, let the rain take care of watering (only water if a prolonged dry period occurs).
Humidity: They prefer ventilated environments with good air circulation, and excess moisture on leaves should be avoided to reduce the risk of fungi.
Fertilisation: Benefits from regular feeding during the growing and flowering season, preferably with fertiliser for roses or flowering plants.
Pruning: Removing wilted flowers helps stimulate new blooms. Main pruning should be done in late winter/early spring.
Soil: Fertile substrate/soil, rich in organic matter and well-drained.
Pet Friendly: Most roses are safe for pets. However, if ingested, the thorns can cause serious injuries.
