Light: Full/direct sun, only in the early morning hours or late afternoon. Alternatively (or during the hottest months of the year) plenty of indirect/filtered light.
Watering: Water sparingly! Moderate in spring/summer and less frequent in winter. Cacti and succulents tolerate periods of moderate drought. The best way to check if the plants need water is to do the “finger test,” inserting it into the soil as deep as possible and watering – only – if you find it dry. When in doubt, wait a few days and water later. Watch out for saucers with standing water during winter!
Toxicity – Pet Friendly? Varies. For example, Echeveria is safe for cats. But Euphorbia, Crassula, and Kalanchoes are toxic. As this is a mix of mini-succulents, we cannot know which one you will receive, so we recommend keeping your pet away from the purchased plant until you confirm that the variety received is safe for pets. As for cacti, they are relatively safe from a toxicity standpoint. However, they are not ideal from a physical standpoint due to their spines.
