Scientific name: Ficus “Twilight”
Common names: Ficus Twilight; Benjamin Variegata Fig Tree; Ficus-Benjamin Twilight
Ficus benjamin “Twilight” is a plant with small, oval, shiny leaves. The distinguishing feature of this variety is the colour variation in the leaves, with white or cream edges that contrast with the central green. Indoors, this plant can reach a height of between 1.5 and 3 metres. Its structure is similar to that of the common Ficus benjamin, but the variation in leaf colour offers additional aesthetic value.
Lighting:
It prefers environments with indirect light. Direct exposure to the sun can burn the leaves, while a lack of light can cause them to lose some of their colour variation, turning darker green.
Watering:
Watering should be moderate. Keep the soil moist, but never soaked. Water when the surface begins to dry out.
Fertilising:
Every 4-6 weeks during spring and summer, using a balanced fertiliser for indoor.Care:
It is sensitive to abrupt changes in environment, which can cause leaves to fall. Avoid moving it frequently and keep it away from cold draughts or intense heat.
