Popularly known as the money tree, the Pachira Aquatica is an indoor plant associated with wealth and happiness. According to Feng Shui, it generates good energy. It prefers abundant indirect light, but also tolerates light shade
and grows with light, making it a popular plant for decorating offices. It likes humidity and a temperature of between 15 and 25ºC.
It is advisable to cut off some of the larger leaves from the lower part each month to encourage new growth in the upper part.
Luminosity: Indirect light.
Watering: Water when the soil is dry, with plenty of water, letting excess water drain well. In winter reduce the frequency of watering.
Fertilisation: Fertilise once a month during the warmer months. To control the size of the plant, simply trim the branches as desired.
